The murga is a place of expression and manifestation of popular culture. It is a way of communicating through different elements: physicality in dance, makeup, clothing, the sounds of percussion and different objects such as the banner, musical instruments and galleys.
It is a place where everyone has a good time and finds a group of people to share and create with.
It is also the place where many find themselves within the practice, they allow themselves to discharge sadness, celebrate joys and let emotions emerge.
This work begins with the 2020 neighborhood corsos in Bahía Blanca, Gral. Daniel Cerri and Ingeniero White and aims to register the emotions and energy of the murgas and their members.
